About 10000 people showed up on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder Monday for the annual April 20 event. A large cloud of smoke rose above the crowd huddled in the quad at 4:20 pm as local police stood by, saying their primary concern was the safety of the group.

This was filmed at the first annual 4/20 Ken Gorman Memorial Rally in Civic Center Park in Denver in 2007. In Feb. 2007, CBS4′s Rick Sallinger aired a story about medical marijuana caregiver, Ken Gorman. Less than a week later, that caregiver was found brutally murdered in his home. Denver police have made no arrests and have no suspects in the case.
