4/20 hits CU-Boulder, CO!

15000 were predicted by CU Authorities, who sent email to all students urging them NOT to come! The cops attending said the official estimate was 12000. Will Authorities claim the victory of saving 3000 souls? The spin never stops in Boulder. To me, it looked like Boulder’s ’80s Halloween Mall Crawl which attracted 15-20000 and took Authorities 3 years to shut down. 4/20 is held on Norlin Quad. “Who knows only his own generation remains always a child.” -George Norlin
Boulder 4/20 celebration of marijuana in Colorado 2009
About 10000 people showed up on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder Monday for the annual April 20 event. A large cloud of smoke rose above the crowd huddled in the quad at 4:20 pm as local police stood by, saying their primary concern was the safety of the group.
